BioKote film is made from highly refined wood pulp sourced from Sustainable Forest Initiative (SFI) managed forests. Available in Gloss, Matt and Silk. BioKote is an environmental film specifically designed to compliment any printed paper or board requiring that Gloss, Matte or Silk finish. The film is DIN EN 13432 accredited, which is the internationally recognised standard for Compostability and BioDegradation. Under the correct conditions of temperature and moisture the breakdown of the film takes a matter of months. Film production is governed by ISO 14001.

Please note that this film is ordered as required so please advise your Allkotes team early as possible. Larger volumes may require longer lead times. Ensure your inks are dry before we laminate otherwise set off, scuffing and marking can occur. Please provide a marked up sheet showing grip and lay. Colour stability is critical in the lamination process so please ensure you discuss your requirements with your ink and paper suppliers as to suitability for this process.
DONT'S
Don’t apply any varnish, primer or aqueous varnish unless its approved by your supplier for the lamination process.(we welcome testing in these instance’s to ensure quality results) Don’t use excessive spray powder as this will effect the overall quality.
